Children’s Program

While our full program includes a wide range of levels, we will begin our first year with the following offerings: Pre-Ballet, Beginners (Levels 1, 2, 3), Intermediate, and Boys’ Program. See below for more details. General age guidelines are provided, but placement is based on a student’s ability and experience.

Pre-Ballet

Recommended ages: 5 - 6
Students do not need any prior training*

Pre-ballet introduces the basics of ballet in a fun and supportive environment. The class nurtures a love for ballet through engaging activities that combine movement with music, helping dancers improve rhythm, flexibility, and coordination. Students will learn basic ballet concepts and classroom etiquette while building confidence, developing respect, and making new friends.

  • Wednesday 3:30 - 4:30 pm

  • Saturday 10:00 - 11:00 am

Level 1

Recommended ages: 6 - 8
No prior training is not necessary, but highly recommended*

Level 1 introduces elementary elements for the placement of the body, coordinations of the steps and gain both flexibility and strength.

SCHEDULE:

Monday 4:30 - 6:00 pm
Wednesday 4:30 - 6:00 pm

Level 2 & 3

*Combined levels for 2025 - 2026 school year

Level 2 (recommended ages 7-10): Repeats the former elements from Level 1 further stressing the development of strength, flexibility, and stamina. Elements of arms and épaulment will be added and combinations on demi pointe.


Level 3 (recommended ages 8-11): Completes our beginner series and students will demonstrate a mastery of all elements previously taught.

Sunday 10:00 - 11:30 am, 11:30 - 12:00 pm (pre-pointe)

Boys

Recommended ages: 9 - 12
Designed for students with 2 - 3 years of experience*

This program is designed specifically to support and engage young male ballet students as they build a strong technical foundation while developing confidence, coordination, and artistry. While sharing the core structure and technique of the traditional ballet curriculum—this class also places special emphasis on movement qualities often associated with male dancing in ballet: strength, elevation, agility, and dynamic presence.
